makes her a media relations specialist with strength in international lifestyle products. Her thorough knowledge of media, combined with her expertise in international beauty retailing, marketing and distribution gives her a unique insight which can be applied to many facets of consumer public relations.

Heather began her career working with Canadian Living magazine’s fashion and beauty department and in event planning where she conducted interviews, selected and determined trends, and wrote for a cross-section of the magazine. Following that, she was manager of communications for Estée Lauder Canada, where she coordinated the company’s premiere project with the Toronto International Film Festival (a mobile Estée Lauder Spa for visiting celebrities).

Following a transfer to London, England in 2000, Heather stayed within the Estée Lauder Companies and established Stila Cosmetics’ UK PR office. Tackling the intricacies of international media relations, she doubled Stila’s media profile, arranged a successful media tour for the company’s creator and launched the firm’s expansion into Ireland, as well as traveling within the UK and Sweden to manage local media relations.

Returning to Canada, Heather started a family and co-led a chapter of the Metro Mother’s Network, a non-profit volunteer-run organization throughout Toronto. She and her husband have fulfilled their passion for design and renovation with the purchase of a cottage getaway, in their native Prince Edward Island.
